Hello loves, it’s been a while! 🙊❤️

Have you ever had the feeling as if you’re not getting anywhere? That no matter how hard you try, or how much effort and time you put into something you feel like you keep hitting a brick wall?

That maybe it’s you. Maybe you aren’t good enough after all. Maybe you’re on the wrong path. Maybe you’re wasting your time. Because surely by now, your efforts should have been recognised, right?

You start thinking that it shouldn’t be this hard. Maybe you start comparing your success to someone else’s, and you wonder why? Why is it so hard to catch a break? What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you feel unsuccessful in love also. Maybe it gets you down, because you have a lot to give, and no one to give it to. No one who feels right for you.

But you won’t settle.

Because despite your doubts and rejections, you know your worth. Despite the setbacks, you keep going.

What is it that keeps you going?

Maybe it’s hope. Or maybe it’s a refusal to give up on a better way of living. Because you’ve always had this fire burning inside you, and the more you feel into it the more you remember why you came here. Why you started.

You remember that when you lean into faith, you are led. Call it God, the Universe, or your intuition. Something keeps guiding you.

My equation for life is:
Effort + Faith + Surrender = Miracles

You’re not supposed to do it all alone, the right amount of effort in the direction of your dreams requires a level of faith and surrender for that to be made manifest.

There was a moment when I stopped taking responsibility for the way the world works, I stopped selling myself short. I realised it was THAT mindset that blocked me from receiving all that was already available to me. The next day I woke up to love, abundance, and exciting opportunities which keep on presenting themselves to me. ❤️

Speaking of which, I am excited to announce I now have a range of products available EXCLUSIVELY at @ntbookshop for the @nationaltheatre production of Wuthering Heights! 🙊 An opportunity that came from me taking a leap of faith and starting my business @thelibraryofeden last year.

Hello my loves 🤍

I saved my account from the ether after I scheduled it for deletion, I didn’t think I’d be using it again

but, here I am.

I don’t know about you, but I bloody hate social media - most of the time. ❤️

I recently spoke to my friend @writecarla about this, how it can feel inorganic.

And hard as you try not to, we’re all guilty of attributing some form of worth to numbers at times, maybe on our down days when our ego is louder than usual.

Perhaps, within us all, is a shared desire to be seen, to be acknowledged, to be understood, to figure out this life and why we are here.

You don’t have to always be in the fast lane, you’ll get where you’re going at the pace which fits you best.

So, if you feel that you are desperately clinging to something - your relationship, your finances, your foundations, your identity, just remember,

the tighter you hold on to something, the easier it is for it to slip out of your hands.

Relax.

Take a breath.

Loosen your grip, surrender that voice in your head that conjures up a million reasons why you aren’t yet ‘where you’re meant to be’

Tell it, and anyone else who tries to bring you down, to bugger off.

Because you already are exactly who you are meant to be - and tomorrow you’ll grow into the next you, and then the next, and you’ll keep growing and evolving,

Always becoming better, wiser, smarter.

And when you trip - which, you will, and probably fall on your face and pray the ground swallows you up, you’ll surprise yourself as you pull on your inner resources, getting back up every time.

Because you are strong.

And although you will be tested, unspeakable things may happen and no one will hear you, life may suck sometimes, but sometimes it won’t, and you’ll thank God that on those days where your life doesn’t suck - where you feel the sun on your skin and the temperature is just right, and your hair looks great, and you’re glowing from the inside out, that you didn’t give up.

So keep growing.

Because that’s what humans do - and it’s bloody super to be human. 🤍

“Here, there is no notion of time. Time does not

“Here, there is no notion of time. Time does not exist in any dimension, but you have the belief that it does, so it is so.”

I felt my brain begin to turn into a pretzel.

“It is this illusion of time that you are governed by. What possible use can it serve when you are all so convinced there is never enough of it?” I didn’t respond.

“Can you imagine what would happen if all humans could manifest instantaneously? You’re all so focused on the things you don’t want, those are exactly the things that would show up for you.”

The voice continued, “You’d ruin your own lives by doing this, you need to focus so much on the positive that that is all will show up for you. Therefore, there is a ‘buffer period’ — if you will, on Earth so that in order to manifest things into your reality, you have to give them a considerable amount of attention.”

“So, I could in theory manifest something that I don’t want, if I think too long about it?”

“Yes, the Universe does not know the difference between what you do or do not want, it only responds to that which you focus on.”

I felt a strong desire to lay down.
